What I Can Help With:

Counselling for Anxiety, Trauma, Depression and More in Sussex

Serene image representing support for anxiety, trauma, grief, and emotional wellbeing.

I have experience working with a wide range of clients, each with their own unique stories, struggles, and strengths. Whether you’re facing something specific or you’re simply not feeling like yourself, therapy can provide a supportive space to talk things through and begin to make sense of what’s going on.

Sometimes clients come to therapy with a clear reason. Other times, it’s just a sense that something isn’t quite right. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Here are some of the areas I have supported clients with:

  • Abuse
  • Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Bereavement and grief
  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
  • Bullying
  • Childhood trauma: sexual, emotional, physical and neglect
  • Depression
  • Difficult relationships with family or friends
  • Divorce and separation
  • Feeling stuck, dissatisfied, or lost
  • Fears and phobias
  • Identity and self-esteem
  • LGBTQIA+ experiences: coming out, family support, internalised shame
  • Life changes: leaving home, redundancy, retirement, empty nest
  • Loss of health, relationships, roles, or direction
  • Menopause and perimenopause-related mood and anxiety
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Panic Attacks and Panic Disorder
  • PTSD and complex trauma
  • Repeating patterns in relationships
  • Sadness, shame, guilt
  • Sexuality and sexual issues
  • Stress
  • Work-related burnout and overwhelm

How Therapy Can Help

Psychodynamic therapy can help you explore and understand how your past experiences may be affecting your present-day emotions, behaviours, and relationships. By noticing long-standing patterns and unconscious beliefs, therapy creates the space for real change to happen. Sometimes, simply being heard without judgment is the starting point.

Therapy isn’t just for a crisis, it’s for anyone who wants to explore their inner world more deeply, better understand themselves, and move towards a more meaningful and connected life.

What You Might Be Feeling

You may find yourself exhausted, low, or anxious for no clear reason. Or perhaps you’re always busy, but nothing seems to bring real joy anymore. Maybe you’re stuck in the same unhelpful relationship dynamics again and again, or finding it difficult to trust or connect with others. These are all common reasons people come to therapy, even if they don’t have the exact words for what’s wrong.

A Compassionate, Safe Space

My role is to offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore what’s going on, at your pace. There is no pressure to have it all figured out. Together, we can gently explore your experiences and begin to make sense of them, piece by piece. I work with warmth, empathy, and curiosity, always respecting where you are in your journey.

In-Person and Online Sessions

I offer therapy in two peaceful clinic spaces: one in Haywards Heath, West Sussex and the other in Crowborough, East Sussex. For those further afield or preferring the convenience of home, online sessions are also available.
